Nick Santostefano began his musical career in the fall of 2002 playing in local coffee shops and dive bars in Connecticut. Growing up in a household that was always filled with music, whether it was his parents playing James Taylor or the Beatles on the record player, his father and uncles playing guitar around the house, or even his sister blasting NKOTB, music became an important part of his life and he moved to Boston in the fall of 2003 to pursue his fortune. While in high school, Nick played baseball, was involved in theater productions and would often perform in talent shows and charity cabarets. With his candid blend of honest, story telling lyrics and driving rhythms it was clear to see that music would carry him places. Nick recalls the early days before he even began playing for much of an audience, "I remember that often times my first audiences would be just whoever I was hanging out with that night. Whether I was at a cast party for the latest play I was in, or if it was a bunch of my baseball teammates throwing a party, or even just a handful of friends watching a movie on a Tuesday night, if there was a guitar in the house we were at... it would eventually be handed to me. And I'd sit there playing Dave Matthews songs, or Beatles tunes till dawn."
Nick has shared the stage with some of the Northeast's premiere artists including Ryan Montbleau, Mieka Pauley, Toby Lightman, and more. With those accomplishments under his belt and many more to come, Nick is attacking the music world, but is willing to take his time, "I'm excited to get to where I am going as quickly as possible. But I know I have to pay my dues and take some abuse on the way... But it's all part of what I signed on for." Nick is now based in his home state of Connecticut and is preparing to tour the Northeast.
