Nate started singing in the womb, by all accounts, but didn’t get public recognition as a singer until a friend of his older sister dragged him—literally kicking and screaming—into a high school musical audition. It didn’t take long for people to see that he would be spending a lot of time on stage, in front of audiences, sharing his love of music. Throughout high school and college, he concentrated his efforts on acting in musicals while earning a BFA in Music Education at Montclair State University. Though he enjoyed performing, there was something missing. Nate always felt he had something to share with the world. It wasn’t until he graduated college in 2001 that he “found his song” and began composing.

Having a rather shy disposition, he was finally able to express things he couldn’t say on stage singing other people’s words and music. His first, most well received song, “Floating Candles,” was written for Nate and his wife to dance to at their wedding. After that, he went through a love song phase, where he wrote some of his best material, including “My Everything,” ”Biggest Fan,” and “Ecstasy.” Audiences that heard these songs in the various coffee houses Nate performed in hailed them as “enlightened and enchanting.” One critic called him “a modern storyteller. His tales are real, they’re universal, they’re timely… and set to music.” With a unique mix of pop, rock, alternative, and adult contemporary feels creates his own sound that appeals to everyone.

Most recently, his experience as a church musician has led him to join the ranks of the fastest growing popular music genres in the United States… Christian Rock and Inspirational. Songs like “The Call” and “A Child’s Eyes” have garnered praise such as, “he sings like an Angel, and his songs are so emotionally charged, we don’t know whether to applaud, jump to our feet, or cry.” Nate is thrilled to have such a large fan base in Bergen County, New Jersey, but hopes to expand that audience and, some day soon, share his message with the world.
