Born on March 25, 1983, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, Matt Hartke currently resides in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Matt is the nephew of Larry Hartke, creator of Hartke Systems.

Matt started playing guitar and singing in 2002. His debut CD, "Great Good Fortune", will be released in the spring of 2006. "My intentions when creating music are very simple: to create vibes that connect with the light parts of myself and those energies that reside in the positive parts of the world. When creating songs, whether the emotions I express are sad or happy, I feel inspired to leave you with a positive message about life."
