A: Yep, you never have to pay anything to be a part of zaziggy.com

Q: And I can download music that is free and legal?
A: Yes.

Q: And the artists are going to get paid for it?
A: Right again. You're good.

Q: How does that work?
A: Our goal is to have advertisers sponsor your downloads. Every time you see an advertisement when you download a song, that advertiser has just paid for your download, and the artist gets a portion of the proceeds.

Q: So the artist is going to benefit directly?
A: Yes, so please keep in mind that the advertiser sponsoring the download is helping the artists out and helping you to get music for free so if you have the choice to buy their product or someone else's, please buy theirs. They're helping turn the music industry around and making it better for the musicians.

Q: Who owns the rights to the music on the site?
A: The artists who register with zaziggy.com completely own the rights to the songs on the site. They give us permission to put the song on our site and are giving you the right to download it. We're partnering up with our artists who are supplying the music, and we're supplying a way for them to make money off of it.

Q: What is Rockstar Technologies and how do they relate to Zaziggy.com?
A: Rockstar Technologies is the company that owns Zaziggy.com.

Q: There are rumors that Rockstar Technologies and Zaziggy.com was started for musicians, by musicians. Is that true?
A: Yep. We're trying to help musicians out.

Q: I have a friend that's in a band that I think would be great for your site. Can they be part of Zaziggy.com?
A: We're not like some of the other websites online that allow anyone to upload their music to our site. Our users don't have to search for hours on our site for good music. We're still looking for new artists in every genre of music. If you know a band that you'd love to hear on our site, tell them about us and have them check out our FAQ section for Artists. They can send us a demo CD, and we'll see what we can do.

Q: I heard that I have to fill out a survey with all kinds of information about myself to register for the site; will that information be given to others?
A: No specific information about you will be given to third parties. The survey is to get demographic information about you so we can give the artists and advertisers general information about the people who are downloading their music and viewing their advertisements.

Q: What if I have a question that's not answered here?
A: Go to the contact us page and fill out the form. We'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Q: What if I just want to tell you how much I love you guys and how much I think you rock?

Q: Hey, how do I get to be part of Zaziggy.com?
A: Please send a Data CD with the following:

1. An email address AND a phone number.
2. A contact person.
3. Your top suggested tracks in MP3 format.
4. Several band/artist photos, preferably high resolution.
5. One band/artists photo at least 400 X 200 pixels.
6. A brief biography between 200 and 300 words.
7. An extended biography.

In addition to the above, please send an actual Demo CD or a copy of your CD(s) with a note advising your top suggested tracks. You can mail the CD's to :

Q: Will I have to sign away the rights to my music like other record companies if I join Zaziggy.com?
A: No. You keep all artistic rights to your music even if you get on our site.

Q: How much money will I make off each download?
A: The rate is variable depending on whether we have an advertiser to sponsor the download and what the advertiser is paying to sponsor each download. You'll get 50% of what the advertiser will pay for each download.

Q: What other benefits does Zaziggy.com offer?
A: We can give you demographic information on the people that are downloading your music so you know where you're hot, and where you're not.

Q: How many songs do I need to have recorded to be on the site?
A: Only one. If you have a good song, we can put you on our site with just that song, and you'll be able to make money off it.

Q: I'm a small business, can I advertise with your site?
A: Yes, that's not a problem at all, we'd love to work with you.

Q: Can I target a small geographic area?
A: Yes, we can target specific zip codes for your advertisements.

Q: Can I target other demographic groups with my advertisements?
A: Yes, we can target quite a few different demographic groups. Fill out the form below and we'll get back to you about what exactly we can do for your company.

Q: How much do I need to spend on advertising with you?
A: Generally, the minimum is about $500.00US for a block of advertisements.

Q: How many advertisements will that buy me?
A: We have flexible rates for downloads. The more downloads you sponsor; the more users will see your advertisements. Flexible rates allow small businesses to stay competitive with large businesses that are blanketing the country, and yet still provide affordable web advertising.

Q: If I don't have an advertisement for the website, can you help me with that?
A: We can design an advertisement for you. We have several different packages for design and advertising. Contact us and we can talk specifics.

Q: Will I be able to get demographic data on the people who are seeing my advertisements?
A: Yes, we will be able to give you very specific demographic data on your audience and we can target a very specific audience for your advertisements as well. However, we do not give out any specific contact information on our users. The privacy of our users is very important to us.

Q: I'm in the advertising department for a large company, can I advertise with you?
A: Yes, we'd love to work with you.

Q: I have a large advertising campaign that we want to target across the U.S., is that possible?
A: Yes.

Q: I have a very targeted campaign that I want to target to one small town, and only a specific audience in that town, is that possible?
